Septicopyemia is a Grindсore band from Russian Federation. Founded in 1995 under the name “Thromboemboly” the band was influenced by old Carcass, later the name was changed to “Septicopyemia”.
In the late 90’s band released few demo-tapes – “Necrotic Mutilation/Endless Decay” 1996 “Sick Categories” 1998, “Pathophilism – Clinical Necrognosis” 1998 and few split tapes.
Septicopyemia split-up in 2000 and reunied in 2002 with few new members, and start working with new stuff. The first full CD "Vomiting Swamp" was recorded in November 2004 and was released only in 2006 by Moscow label Sound Age prod.
During this time band played many gigs and took part in Petrogrind Fest, Coyote Brutal Fest, Metal Head's Mission open air, etc, and shared the stage with Squash Bowels, Dead Infection, Torsofuck, Decapitated, Tiamat, Holy Moses, Scrambled Defuncts, and
others.
The next EP "Hungry Asses" saw the light in 2008 as split with Formalin by Sound Age prod., and re-released in 2009 as split CD with Ebanath and Stickoxydal by Ukrainian label Eclectic prod.
Band plays more gigs and festival, like Moscow Deathfest, Coyote Brutal fest Open Air, Zverovision fest in Kiev, Ukraine, and mighty Obscene Extreme open air in Czech Republic and share the stage with Napalm Death, Dying Fetus, Gut, Inhumate, etc
At this time band start to organize own brutal parties “Bukkake fest” and bringing the most insane international acts as Jig-Ai, Mucopus, Cenotaph, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Carnivore Diprosopus, SpermBloodShit, Gutalax, Katalepsy, and others…
The next step was “Bukkake Blast” European tour with 12 shows in 6 countries in march 2011, with bands Demented Retarded, БУТ, Bloody Diarrhoea, Rubufaso Mukufo, G.O.R.E, D.E.O.A.G, Ass to Mouth, and others…
2012 starts with recording new stuff, the band took part in summer biggest Ukrainian metal open-air fest with Nile, Gorguts, Deranged, and in November new full CD "Supreme Art of Genital Carnage" was released by Bizarre Leprous prod., world famous grindcore label from Czech republic.
The band continues to share their plague to the masses, gigging and composing new material.
Our music is a mix of blasting and grooving grindcore with dual low/high vocals and some death metal touches, that pump the ass and shit is in… Lyrics are mostly mix of black humor, pathologies and some porn. Everything for the sick music gourmets!
