Bio a historie
Founding members of Lyndon Town Martin Swingler and Steve Corbin performed together for a few years as an acoustic duo back in the late 2000s. Lyndon Town, the band, is a rebirth and expansion of the original duo, with Kamil Vasica (of fantasy folk/acoustic rock band Druga) on bass guitar, Dalton Stansbury (of country hoedown outfit The Band of Jakeys and the Daltones duo) on the fiddle, and percussionist and cajon and djembe player Murat Yilmam (of MaKoMu Trio and Salamura). The result is energetic alternative acoustic folk that stirs the emotions with moving vocal harmonies, melodic yet lively strings, and irresistible rhythms. Lyndon Town play a mix of original compositions and traditional Irish folk songs.
Dalton and Murat live in Prague, while Kamil, Steve, and Martin reside in Celakovice. Kamil hails from the Central Bohemian town. Steve and Martin are originally from central England, Dalton from Tennessee, and Murat from western Turkey.
